For WINDOWS users:
  1. right click on CS2, go to 'Properties',
  2. go to 'Betas' and select 'csgo_legacy' - let it download,
  3. launch CS2, it should prompt - select csgo_legacy,
  4. go to settings, search for 'Enable Developer Console' and set to YES,
  5. press the '~' key and enter 'connect trent.surf:27017' without the quote marks.
For LINUX users:
  1. right click on CS2, go to 'Properties',
  2. go to 'Betas' and select 'csgo_legacy' - let it download,
  3. add a non-steam game and select 'csgo.sh' located in CS2's installation folder,
  4. right click on 'csgo.sh' and add '-steam' as a launch option. go to compatibility, and select "Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout)",
  5. launch 'csgo.sh',
  6. go to settings, search for 'Enable Developer Console' and set to YES,
  7. press the '~' key and enter 'connect trent.surf:27017' without the quote marks.
NOTE: CSGO on Linux sometimes has issues downloading maps. If you get disconnected due to a missing map file:
  1. visit https://trent.surf/files/cstrike/maps/ and locate the missing map,
  2. click on the .bsp file to download it,
  3. move the .bsp map file to your CS2 installation directory under the csgo/maps folder,
  4. reconnect to the server.
